That Members note the Arkwood Performance Report (attached as the Appendix to the report) and consider company’s performance against its targets and objectives highlighting any areas of high performance and identifying areas for improvement.

That the Executive Shareholder Committee note the performance of Active4Today up to period 10, 2024-25 and approve the Business Plan 2025 - 2026 as detailed in Appendix 4.

To seek approval for amendments to the Community Grant Scheme eligibility criteria for 2025-26 and the reallocation of unclaimed grant from previous years into 2025-26 round.

Agreed that the Portfolio Holders approve:

1. Amending the eligibility criteria of the Community Grant Scheme to include smaller Parishes (less than 100 homes) and Parish Meetings as eligible for grant funding.

2. That the unclaimed grant detailed at section 2.3, totalling £29,500 is added to the Community Grant Scheme for 2025-26 for fresh allocation.

That Cabinet note:

a)      the exceptions to performance of the housing service compliance functions; and

b)      the new format for performance for Quarter 3 2024.25 onwards.

That Cabinet:

a)      review the Community Plan Performance Report attached as Appendix 1;

b)      review the compliance report attached as Appendix 2; and

c)       consider the Council’s performance against its objectives highlighting any areas of high performance and identifying areas for improvement.

That Cabinet:

(a)     note the General Fund projected favourable outturn variance of £0.250m;

(b)    note the Housing Revenue Account projected favourable outturn variance of £0.500m to the Major Repairs Reserve;

(c)     approve the variations to the Capital Programme at Appendix E;

(d)    approve the Capital Programme revised budget and financing of £42.162m; and

(e)     note the Prudential indicators at Appendix H.

For the Portfolio Holders to approve resources to enable the Council to meet the Simpler Recycling legislation. Due to  extremely short lead times, resources need to be put in place to afford a start date of 1 April 2025.

Agreed that the Portfolio Holder:

1. Confirms for the Council to deliver the additional Simpler Recyling Service to businesses in Newark & Sherwood District;
2. Note the inclusion of provision in the Capital Programme Budget 2025/6 to 2028/9 for the  purchase of a food waste vehicle in anticipation of approval by the Portfolio Holder; and
3. Note the increase in the establishment by 1 driver from 2025/26, already in the Revenue Budget and Council Tax Setting for 2025/26 in anticipation of approval by the Portfolio Holder.
