The Chair advised the Council that only the initial part of the meeting was being live streamed given the exempt nature of the business.

There were no declarations of interest.  

To consider resolving that, under section 100A (4) of the Local Government

Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the following items

of business on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt

information as defined in Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

AGREED     (with 29 votes for, 1 against and 2 abstentions) that, under Section 100A (4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that itinvolved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 1 and 2 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

The Council considered the exempt report in relation to staffing preparations for Local Government Reorganisation.
