Purpose:
To approve the awards recommended by the cross party panel for the Community Grant Scheme.
Decision:
That the awards detailed within the report are approved.
Reasons for the decision:
It was agreed at Cabinet held on 31.10.23 that in order to support the expedient allocation of awards under the 2023-24 grant scheme, that a Portfolio Holder decision would be sufficient to awards the grants following a cross party panel having considered and recommended awards from all eligible application received. All Members also had opportunity to feed into the decision making process through direct feedback to the panel – there was no opposition from Members to any of the successful applications.

That the awards are not approved and that the awards are referred to Cabinet for further discussion/ approval.
